I have a strong belief that the council should build more bicycle paths and here are my reasons why.

Firstly, cars cause a lot of pollution because cars run on petrol which makes the petrol not renewable. Bicycles don’t cause pollution because bicycles just need human energy to ride them.

Secondly, when riding a bike it is much safer because when you are driving and you crash into the car in front of you, it is most likely that you will get killed or get badly injured. When riding a bike in single file it is most likely you won’t crash into the person in front of you. If you do crash you will get hurt, but not that hurt, because you are wearing a helmet.

Lastly, when you are driving, you don’t get any exercise. When you are riding a bike you do exercise and get some fresh air.

In conclusion, I believe that the council should build more bicycle paths in many ways like bicycles cause less pollution because bikes are more environment friendly than cars, bicycles are much safer than cars and when riding a bike you do exercise and when you drive you don’t. So I believe that the council should build more bicycle paths.
